We're thrilled to announce that Kallie Costner from Manila, AR, and Landon Wren from Brookland, AR have been chosen as the 2025 ANC Student Ambassadors to Japan! This prestigious program offers two Arkansas Northeastern College (ANC) students the incredible opportunity to immerse themselves in Japanese culture during a two-week stay in Japan.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Yamato Kogyo Company, all trip expenses are covered, with the ANC Foundation providing airfare support. Scheduled immediately after commencement and just before the start of summer classes in May, this journey promises to be an enriching experience for Kallie and Landon.
During their stay, the students will reside in a combination of hotels and the homes of Yamato Kogyo employees, allowing them to truly embrace and understand the Japanese way of life. Upon their return, Kallie and Landon will share their experiences with classes and organizations, serving as cultural ambassadors not only for Arkansas Northeastern College and the state of Arkansas but also for the United States. We couldn't be prouder of them and look forward to hearing about their transformative journey!
